During Race Weekend, all registered runners will receive a Napa Valley Marathon goodybag containing an assortment of sample products. Goodybags can be picked up at the Sports and Fitness Expo held on Friday and Saturday before the race from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Friday and from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Saturday at the Napa Valley Marriott Hotel & Spa. For the past several years, the Napa Valley Marathon runners’ bags have received universal praise and this year is no exception. You will receive a duffel bag fitted with a laminated baggage tag, upon which your race number will be written. Please use the duffel as your sweatbag. Take the duffel with you to the start area, where the bag and it's contents will be transported from the start area to the finish area at Vintage High School. Bags should be turned over to the sweatbag buses in the start area by 6:45 a.m. Please do not pack anything of value in your sweatbag; secure your car key to your shoelace, topped by a double knot. The Napa Valley Marathon is not responsible for lost or stolen articles.
NVM is Going Green - The Virtual Goodybag
In an effort to reduce our use of paper and reserve the space in your goodybag for product samples, the Napa Valley Marathon will be providing a "virtual" goodybag to all runners as well. A few weeks prior to the race, visitors to the web site will be able to download an electronic package containing an assortment of coupons, specials, and information about other marathons. An email to registered runners will be sent out once this package is available for download.
Do you have a product or a special offer you would like to extend to the Napa Valley Marathon participants? The Kaiser Permanente Napa Valley Marathon and Kiwanis 5K Fun Run Goodybag Program is a great way to get information on your goods and/or services in front of potential customers. It is also extremely cost effective – just $250 to reach all participants in this event! The Kaiser Permanente Napa Valley Marathon will stuff 2,700 Goodybags which runners can pick up at the Expo or at the finish after the race. Goodybags traditionally contain items regarding health and fitness that are of interest to runners. These items could include product samples ($150 fee waived with actual product samples, which is preferred), product coupon, pamphlet, brochure, or flyer, which are done paperless via PDF file, or web link.
